This view is designed to answer the question a manager coming back from holiday would ask: do we have issues right now? A client like Krusty Krab, with multiple SLA breaches and a significantly worse response time than other accounts, stands out immediately. Without this view, that pattern is invisible until the client complains.

A high-value enterprise client that has not been contacted in six months, like ExxonMobil in the session demo, is a risk that needs immediate attention. Sometimes the risk is not in the client relationship itself, it is in how a specific account manager is communicating. Email Meter's agent performance view compares employees on sentiment score, tone quality, and email volume side by side.
In the session demo, John was sending a high volume of emails but his sentiment score was low and he was frequently flagged as "robotic and cold." Candy, by contrast, had a much lower volume but consistently high sentiment scores and almost never sounded robotic. The data raises an immediate question: should John be coached, or reassigned to different accounts where his communication style is a better fit?
This view is built on Email Meter's AI features, trained specifically for your industry and communication context, not a generic model. As Ilmars explained: "Even the same industry can have different words that only the specific business and their customers will understand, and they might be positive in one case and negative in another."
Email sentiment analysis by client
Beyond agent performance, Email Meter tracks sentiment at the client account level, showing which client relationships are healthy, which are declining, and which require immediate attention.
A client like Holly with consistently high sentiment scores is a healthy relationship. A client like E-Corp with declining scores is a warning signal, one that may not yet have translated into an explicit complaint but is heading in that direction. Managers can filter by employee, by company, or by sentiment level to focus on the accounts that need attention without having to review every email individually.

Of all the emails a typical employee receives in a day, only 5 to 10% are what Ilmars calls "make-it-or-break-it emails", the ones that, if missed or mishandled, directly affect a client relationship.

One of the most useful moments in this session was Ilmars' answer to the question of when traditional analytics and AI features are most valuable and why they work best together.
Traditional analytics, response times, SLA compliance, email volume, workload distribution, are excellent at showing you what is happening. They answer the question: are we meeting our targets?
AI features, sentiment analysis, email categorization, escalation detection, tone analysis, answer the question: what does it mean? They reveal the context behind the numbers. A good overall response time average might be masking the fact that escalation emails are being handled just as slowly as routine ones — a problem that traditional analytics alone would not surface.
"I strongly believe that they work really well hand-in-hand," Ilmars said. "The overall response time is good but what about those emails that should have been escalated? Should they be targeted differently? Probably yes."
